Tim Bangle

Tim Bangle is a writer, director, and editor focusing on drama and sci-fi films. It’s through his vision, passion for filmmaking, and desire to help people that drive his films to not only introduce people to a new lens to look at the world through, but also inspire people to do their part in changing the world around us. It is through the drama and sci-fi genres that he believes best accomplish this.

Tim’s passion for filmmaking started late in high school where he got his first taste for screenwriting. After moving to California and graduating from the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts Technical Theatre program in 2000, Tim walked away from his creative passions in pursuit of supporting a family. Stepping away from creativity changed him in ways he couldn’t foresee. After almost twenty years away from the arts, Tim found his way back.

Tim graduated Summa Cum Laude from The Los Angeles Film School in August 2020. Through the program he developed a deep desire for writing, found the courage to finally step into directing shoes, and refined his most practiced skill of editing. He has most recently graduated from Full Sail University with a Master of Art degree in Creative Writing.

Tim now plans to begin writing his first feature length film while taking on his next adventure, teaching teenagers filmmaking at the Music Conservatory of Music in Sandpoint, Idaho.

The Other Dog Films

Our company was inspired by a dog that got himself tangled in a tree near our home. He was malnourished and abused. After a superficial search for his owners, we decided to keep him. He taught us the concept of adoption.

The Other Dog Films focuses on creating narrative and documentary films that challenge everyday perspectives and thinking. We write, produce and distribute our own content that fits within our brand values and goals. This is not to say that we cannot be commissioned to do photography, corporate, event, or other film projects. Feel free to reach out by using this email address. tim.bangle@theotherdogfilms.com.
